Correspondence Course Students in general
Student ID card is required for admission to the Library.
Browsing and photocopying services are available.
Copy machines can be used only for photocopying of the library items. The Copyright Act prohibits.photocopying of private items.

Correspondence course students - registered for graduation thesis guidance/full-year schooling students
Please apply at Main Counter to get Library Card.
The followings are students who have been registered for graduation thesis guidance.
- “Stamp of a guidance instructor” on the Student ID is required.
- The period available for issuance is up to 4 terms (totally 2 years) counting a half year from April to September or from October to the next March as one term irrelevant of the application tiem.
- To extend the period, please come to Main Counter with your Student ID card (a stamp of a guidance instructor is required).
- The Library Card is used for up to 4 terms, so be careful not to lose it.
Book LoansBring books you want to borrow along with your Student ID card to Main Counter.
Loan periods are;
Books in Japanese/Chinese/Korean : 14 days
Books in other language : 30 days
＊Long-term loan is available during summer/winter/spring vacations.
＊Some items (such as journals/dictionaries/DVDs) are not allowed for outside loan.
＊Some items require advance booking to use.
Bring the books to Main Counter.
You can check the due date ;
via “My Library” (keio.jp).
by the stamp on the due date slip attached to the book.
＊Overdue fines are charged at a rate of 10 yen per book per day. Closed days Sundays and holidays will be also counted.
＊You may return the books at the Media Centers of other campuses (with exception of some books).
You can renew twice.
You may renew :
via “My Library” (keio.jp) .
by bringing the books with your Student ID card to :
the other Keio Media Centers on other campuses except Kyoseikan Library.
If the book is overdue
If someone have placed a hold on the book
If the book is 3- day-loan.
You will be notified via E-mail when the book is ready. It will be kept at Main Counter for 7 days after notification
Lost or damaged items
Please handle library items with care. In case of loss or damage of the item, inform Main Counter immediately. Damage fee may incur depending on the situation and the item condition.
Visiting other libraries
To visit other university libraries advance notice or letter of introduction is required. You can apply at Reference Desk or through “Get/Request” page on Mita Media Center website.
For students who are working on a graduation thesis but cannot visit Keio Media Centers because they reside in the local areas, the mailing service is offered by Mita Media Center.
